Professor Ir Rosdiadee Nordin
Professor Ir Dr Rosdiadee Nordin's research focuses on next-generation wireless communications. At the international level, he is ranked among the World's Top 2% Scientists (Elsevier). He has received the Leadership in Innovation Fellowship, a technopreneur program under the Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom, in 2021 and 2023. Additionally, he serves as a Research Associate at The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). Nationally, he is the recipient of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM), a prestigious award from the Academy of Science Malaysia, in 2020. Beyond his work in wireless communications, he advocates for science communication through popular article writing. He is the chief editor for esti.my, an online magazine to rekindle younger readers' interest in STEM topics.

Professor Kirk Semple
Kirk Semple is a Professor of Environmental Microbiology with over 35 years of research experience. He was first appointed as a Lecturer in Environmental Microbiology and Ecotoxicology in 1995 and promoted to Professor of Environmental Microbiology in 2010. In 2018, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at the University of Benin, Nigeria and in 2021, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at Igbinedion University, Nigeria. His main fields of research interest include pollution microbiology; fate, behaviour and availability of organic chemicals in soils; risk assessment and bioremediation of contaminated land. Most recently, a focus has been on bioenergy and the use of microorganisms for energy generation and the application of resulting by-products as soil amendments or alternatives to conventional fertiliser, with partners in UK, the EU, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Zambia. Funding has come from multiple sources in the UK, EU, industry and internationally, equating more than £16 M. He has successfully supervised 55 PhD students, with 38 from overseas. Output from his research has led to the publication of over 250 peer-reviewed journal papers, book chapters and refereed international conference papers.

Professor Anwar P.P. Abdul Majeed
Anwar P.P. Abdul Majeed is a Professor of Applied Artificial Intelligence and the Head of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, ºÚÁÏÉçwith an experience in transnational education. He is a Chartered Engineer with IMechE, a member of IET, and a Senior Member of IEEE. With over 200 publications and editorial roles in prestigious journals and book series, Dr. Anwar is committed to advancing knowledge in the application of machine learning and deep learning in different domains. He is also actively engaged in professional societies, alumni networks, and contributes to the scientific community through his involvement in the Young Scientists Network of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
Dr Abdikarim Mohamed Ibrahim
Dr Abdikarim holds a PhD in Computing from Sunway University, where he focused on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning applied to wireless networks. He also holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from the Academy of Engineering Sciences in Sudan. His research interests centre on applied AI for wireless communication systems, and he is currently working on non-terrestrial networks to support the development of 6G technologies. He is the recipient of the prestigious ºÚÁÏÉçPhD Studentship awarded by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation.
